Watch As JK Wrangler Nearly Tumbles Down Devil’s Gate
After watching this Gladiator rescue a nearly-doomed Wrangler, you can skip the horror movie marathon this Halloween season.
There are few things that will make your sphincter pucker like the sensation that your Jeep is rolling over. Thankfully, with a helpful set of spotters, friends, and someone with a Jeep Gladiator and a tow strap, you never have to live your life in fear.
Of course, we are talking about the video you see above. This short and sweet clip is full of enough terror to cover all of the Halloween bases. First we have the setting, the aptly named Hell’s Revenge in Moab. The action takes place on the Hell’s Gate obstacle. A plucky young JK is carefully working its way up the crevasse. A small team of friends are dotted around the rocks, ensuring the Jeep can safely navigate the aggressive slope.

Then, disaster strikes.
Just like a foreboding narrator, our videographer calls out the terrifying scene moments before it happens. “Watch him pull that front passenger tire way high.” With a line that is too far to the left for the Jeep to successfully navigate the ascent, the front passenger tire points to the blue abyss above. The little JK that could settles back and rests on its rear bumper, driver and steering wheel pointed at nothing but sky. It is a dangerous situation, but the Jeep appears stable.
One quick jump-cut later, and we get the arrival of a hero. A Gladiator Rubicon was already on top of Hell’s Gate. A tow rope to the front bumper of the JK was all the Gladiator needed. A little bit of throttle pulled the JK’s wheels back towards the stone. A little extra tug, and the JK was helped all the way up the slope, and back on to a more level surface.

If anyone knows who the driver of this JK Wrangler is, tell them to give us a ring. We’d like to donate a few dollars so they can get those front seats cleaned. We are sure they smell terrible after that near calamity. And if anyone knows the driver of that Gladiator, buy them a drink. Every hero deserves a free drink.
