Willys Jeep text

It’s pretty rare that you find a Jeep that’s been in the same family for nearly 100 years, but how about the idea that you could have a Jeep being in the same family and town for that long?

Well, that my friends is priceless, which is exactly what makes the story of Scott Robertson and his 1920 Willys-Overland so special, as highlighted in a recent Wall Street Journal report.

First bought by Robertson’s grandfather, the Willys-Overland Model 4 Sedan has been in Harris, Iowa, since the Toledo, OH factory first shipped it off to the small town of about 170 people on the Rock Island Railroad.

Robertson said his grandfather drove the Jeep, which was put together by a local garage, on the very same roads he drives now. In fact, Robertson said the Jeep has never left the town of Harris except for an occasional drive to a nearby town.
