you can pick up the single stack wasr Ak47's which are 10 round max... however, the magwell can be filed down and the feed ramps shaped to accept double stack hi-caps.

there are always loopholes... but for the most part, cali is screwed on firearms
Well yes and no: you can go with a 10 cap...OR if you had preban mags you can go gripless> As I mentioned to way of life-- anyone wanting to know more really needsto check out Calgun's FAQ.... there is a light at the end of the tunnel for CA gun owners-- just takes a bit to get there.....

I just bought the Kel Tec SU-16C assault rifle with the folding stock. I'll have to take a couple pics at home and post them up. Sweet little camp gun, takes all AR15 mags and gladly eats any kind of 5.56 ammo you can find without jamming.

oh, it's nothing special. it's a DPMS lower, DPMS stock, DPMS LPK. the upper assembly is from a Garrison Mfg kit . i'm pretty impressed with Garrison and they had it shipped to me in a few days. their kits come with everything except the lower.

as far as assembling your own upper....seems like it's alot more work and requires special tools. probably don't save yourself any money by assembling it
