The Austin area is lucky to have a few courses designed by the famous John Houck (well... disc golf famous anyway) and I used to play every weekend. The drought the last couple years has made it miserable and I need to make myself go again this fall. Used to love the peace of mind of getting away for a few hours and hucking some discs

Man, I used to play 3x a week before we had kids. I'm not even sure where my discs are at this point. I use to use a Champion Beast, Shark. and I believe a Roc. I really liked that setup.

I just found the local course last August and have been hitting it hard ever since. Was just wondering if this was posted on here and look what I found. So far I have played in 3 PDGA tournaments and am just having a ball!! Doing a tournament in Arkansas this weekend if anyone is going to be out that way. Around here if you want to play in the tournaments you have to take a pretty good drive...
