Thanks, that top fish is a king mackeral however. Not quite as tasty as a wahoo, but it smoked up great!

I've always thought it would be cool to do a JK surf fishing meetup on one of the beaches and follow it up with a fish fry!

Very nice catch! I like the taste of King Mackerel. When my DH was in the Navy he was stationed in Key West, Florida. We had a great time fishing King M. Thanks for the great pictures and the nice memories.

They are definitely a blast to catch on light tackle, and also pretty good to eat if you grill them up fresh. Here's my son's first king mackeral...
