Hey guys, Im from kelowna as well, but am staying in williams lake right now. Will be home for the summer and even if something gets set up im sure i can make it down for a weekend trip or what not. Really want to get into some good wheeling though and would love to learn from the "pros".

I'm from Summerland, live in alberta now though, I travel back a few times a year, I'll be back August 1st for 10 days, will be doing a lot of exploring around the Apex mtn area, gonna go check out some old mine site's. Was up there last summer, found some cool places.
Got a few pics and a poser of my old jeep, and that white stuff in the second pic is snow, these were taken end of July last year, and it was still a couple feet deep, we were pretty high up.

^ Holy crap I've never seen water in the mouth of that mine before!
I have the week off between Aug1 and Aug 10 as well. I'll be at the coast until the 3rd.. But after that I'll likely be doing some weekday wheeling as well. Keep ya posted.

Grab yourself a backroad map book and start exploring, the south Okanagan has a lot of old mining exploration trails and logging roads that can be done in a stock vehicle.
