Also any tips on cleaning the engine? This whine really bothers me. Mud = bad

http://youtu.be/Mzd19s7oS5Q This is how it starts. Then whine gets louder and louder the longer you wait till it gets fixed. Soon the whine will be noticable just at idle, then will whine louder when you turn the wheel. it also gets louder with RPMs rising.

First and last time I ever want to deal with muddy water again. 2 days after i did this is when the whine started. A new power steering pump and pully fixed the issue. Same whine you are describing. 07 2door 6spd.

If your a mudd/water fan, I would highly encourage relocating your front/rear differential and transfer case breathers..

Nice vid though. I'm going to avoid water from now on, though sometimes it's impossible to resist. I'll swing by the dealer next week and get it looked at. Hopefully it's still under warranty.

As I suggested above, the breather relocate is a great $20 mod and gives you peace of mind.

Preasure washer to clean the mud out my whine was my alternator Disassembled cleaned reassembled fixed
