Default Clock spring

I am in the process of replacing the clock spring on my 2008 JKU. I received the replacement but I noticed that when held upright, the yellow tab was clocked at the 3 o clock position instead of the 12 o clock position. I moved it back to the 12. My question is will this affect the proper function of the clock spring once it's installed? Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Have you replaced yours before? If not, perhaps let the dealership do it under the recall for your vehicle? If you can return the one you have, it'll save you some cash.
