Default TATAs Agenda and Helpful Hints

We are 14 days away from the "5th Annual Topless for TATAs" Charity Run! We would like to say thank you for your commitment to our event with the sole purpose to eradicate Breast Cancer! As always, 100% of all proceeds raised will be donated to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Rausch Creek (RC) membership fees apply to those that currently do not a valid driver’s membership. To expedite this process we are recommending that all drivers complete the RC forms and bring them with you to the event. Please make sure that you bring cash for this fee. Forms are located on the RC website at Rausch Creek Off Road Park. RC staff will be on hand to collect completed forms and fees at the pre-check in event at The Comfort Inn Pine Grove on Friday evening as well as at RC on Saturday morning. Remember, you must have a current driver’s membership in order to participate. For those who have current memberships the above does not apply.

The following are a couple of pointers for the weekend:

1. Tread Lightly - I know this might sound like I am on the soapbox but we REALLY need to ensure that we leave no evidence of trash in the park/trails after we leave. Trail blazing will not be tolerated. All vehicles are to remain on the designated trails unless directed by your trail guide. Remember the saying “bring out what you brought in”; lets try to follow that idea.

2. Be respectful of each other on the trail and please keep the vehicle behind you in sight at all times. This will ensure that no one is stranded and keeps the groups moving along.

3. Lunch will be on the trail. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR LUNCH AS WELL AS ALL PASSENGERS IN YOUR VEHICLE.

4. Please note that we would like for all vehicles to be equipped with the following if possible:
A. First Aid Kit
B. Fire Extinguisher
C. Tow Hooks/Points for the front & rear
D. Full Size Spare
E. Hi-Lift Jack
F. CB Radio or handheld CB for communication
G. Recovery Gear

5. The raffle will be at the RC pavilion at a designated time on Saturday, August 10th. Please note that we ask that you bring a chair for the raffle and for the SUPER SECRET SQUIRREL EVENTS following the raffle. ONLY EVENT PARTICIPANTS ARE PERMITTED TO TAKE PART IN THE RAFFLE. CASH WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED FOR RAFFLE TICKET PURCHASES.

6. Pizza, soft drinks and water will be provided after the raffle at no cost to all event participants.

7. Pre check-in will be at The Comfort Inn Pine Grove on Friday, August 9th. RC staff will be on hand to accept completed drivers membership forms for those who do not have a valid membership. The RC staff will be accepting cash and checks on Friday, August 9th.

Agenda
Friday, August 9th:

0900 TATAs staff and volunteers arrive at RC to begin event setup
1130 Lunch break for TATAs staff and volunteers
1600 Return to Comfort Inn Pine Grove to begin setup for Pre Check-In and goodie bag stuffing
1700 Pre check-in begins with hors d’oeuvres provided by Comfort Inn Pine Grove
1930 Pre check-in closed

Saturday, August 10th:
0700 Trail Guides and Staff report to the pavilion
0800 Event participant’s arrival (Staff will be on hand to assist with group line up)
0900 Driver's meeting
0930 Head out for the trails
* LUNCH on the trails with time to be determined by your trail guide
1730 Return from the trails back to the staging area
1800 Raffle to begin (Must be present at the raffle to redeem your tickets)
**NOTE: Secret squirrel surprises after the raffle that event participants are welcome to attend**

Sunday, August 11th:
0800 Trail Guides and Staff report to the pavilion
0830 Event participant’s arrival (Staff will be on hand to assist with group line up)
0900 Driver's meeting
0930 Head out for the trails
* LUNCH on the trails with time to be determined by your trail guide
1630 Concludes the event and return from the trails back to the staging area for farewell

All times above are approximate and subject to change.

8. Donations collected from family, friends or businesses will be accepted at the RC pavilion in the morning as well as after the event.

9. Additionally, we will have TATAs swag and raffle tickets on sale Friday during the Pre Check in, Saturday morning and 30 minutes prior to the raffle beginning. For those who pre ordered event swag, you may pick your items up at Friday’s pre check-in or your TG will have them on hand Saturday morning.
