Before you do any cutting, consider this: Under-Floor Storage

^^this is generally what I did, and I will forever be indebted to ronjenx for that specific thread, cuz it's been one of the best things I ever did.

Great idea! My only problem is that it would eat up too much room. With 2 kids and 3 dogs, we need every square inch of the storage area in the back.

Literally in my top 5 most useful mods I've done to my rig and 5 years later, worth the cost and hassle. Was around $220 when I installed mine but I see it's more now, if you can find it (Summit claims to have them). But I do recommend the concept/process, especially out of sight-out of mind with a cargo mat covering it.

I don't recall ever running across your old thread. That unit is quite a bit bigger than I was thinking it would be looking at the webpage listing it. I could see that being pretty useful to some.

It doesn't look like Warrior makes the storage trunk any more. None of their online retailers show it in stock.

I double checked with Warrior. They do not make it any more. It also only fits 07-11. I wish they would make one for the later models!!!

Summit still shows in stock https://www.summitracing.com/parts/wrp-2205

It will fit later models (mine is a 12) but interferes with the muffler so you'll have to eliminate that which is wise to do anyway if you wheel.

Some years back I did this to store tools in an ammo box (well, fake ammo box). There's extra room underneath for other stuff and it's rock solid. Cost was about twenty bucks.

Eventually I needed a bit more room for other stuff.

It says that it ships from the manufacturer. Warrior doesn't have any in stock.
