oem sahara 18s with 5.13 gears
I'm pulling my beadlocks off and getting them powdercoated and my new 40s put on, but for a couple days I'll be on oem sahara wheels and tires. My question is, how bad will it be trying to drive it?

Well at 70 mph it'll be at 3300 rpm. It'll also be really fast off the line. I assume you have a programmer? We will all of course want to see video of some 0-40 drag runs.

Yeah, I think you'll have to reprogram for that bit of time.
This link does a good job of predicting such things. https://www.4lo.com/calc/gearratio.php

So I'll make some assumptions.
Manual transmission is 0.84:1
Differential gear is 5.13:1
Tire diameter with OEM tires is P255/70R18 = 32" which we will say is 31" measured
Using that link I posted, it says you should be running 3200rpm at 70mph with the OEM tires on. That's probably pretty close. When I put in your 37s as 35.5" it gives 2855rpm for 70mph with all else equal.

The charts that Jpop gave us way back when are pretty easy to use too. 3.8L engine, 6-spd trans, 5.13's, 32's that probably measure between 30-31" actual height?
32" = 3169 rpm @ 70 mph
31" = 3271 @ 70
30" = 3380 @ 70
A bit on the high side, but you'll be fine for a week or three.
