Jeep Fire
Hi
I´m new in the forum
Recently I have problems in my 3.8L 2009 wrangler (P430 code)
Start to check many things like spark plugs, etc, my jeep have 80000 kms (50000 miles)
So one night with a friend who help me checking the jeep, He saw a cloud like spray under the hood (that was not seen during the day). touch it and smells gasoline.
So we check the fuel line and found a little hole the size of a needle.
So we replace the this part of the fuel line.
No more check engine code.
later I see many news about jeeps in fire.
The fuel line looks like a plastic tube, maybe that´s the cause of the fires, I´m gonna replace the complete fuel line for safety.
Hope this can help someone with the p430 code and prevent fire incidents.
Cheers
