Let's see your XJ!!

My XJ introduced me to the Jeep and off-road life style and I'll never forget it. Here are some pics from New Mexico. Mostly easy trails but a whole lot of fun nonetheless.

Blurple XJ (before)
Here's the Blurple 1999 XJ that was the daily driver until buying the JK. Tomorrow it gets a 3" lift and new tires all around (painting the wheels black)...
The laws up here in Maine won't let me go too big with the tires, so I'm just getting some Cooper Discover ST's for now.
Once those wear out I'll probably go with some wider tires w/larger steel wheels.

Blurple XJ (after)
The XJ is lifted, Monday it goes in for an alignment & I'll be taking her on the road. Next pic will be a muddy one!
The wheels are just the plain stock steel wheels, they masked off the center Jeep logo before painting them. Once these tires wear out I'll be getting some wider/larger wheels & tires. But first... skid plates (up in Maine we've got lots of glacial boulders buried in the mud!)
