Default New from Bowmanville, ON

Heyo,

Was pointed to this sub-forum, so I figured I'd introduce myself here as well. Looking forward to possibly running some trails with you guys. Bought my 2012 sport last weekend in Niagra, local dealerships were trying to f*ck me hard on pricing so the drive to niagra to save $3000 was worth it.

Name: Shawn
Location: Bowmanville

My Jeep:

2012 Sport 2 door
3.21's
245/70R16 Grabber AT2's on 16" stock steelies.
6 Speed (driving this thing smoothly is definitely a challenge)
Soft top.

Only have one pic, same one as before.

I do plan on modding/small lift and 33's then later to 35's once life and the budget allow.

First mod will be gussets then gears, true tracs front and rear. 3.21's suck so much. Thinking 4.10's would be adequate with the 6 speed. I see a lot of guys going 4.56 but I think that would be too much gear for me.

Looking at the RK 1.5" max travel kit. With flat fenders I can accommodate 33's-35's easily. I don't think the xfactor with the 1" stretch is necessary, but it may happen anyways. Also looking at the Metalcloak stuff as well.

Armor and other goodies as well.

Not sure what to do about my disco's at stock height. Any ideas?

Shawn.

Welcome to the site and congrats on the new Jeep! 4.10 gears will work well with the 6 speed manual tranny and many companies offer sway bar quick disconnects; I have the 2.5"-6" lift JKS ones but they also make a 0"-2" version as well.
