Emergency trip to oahu
Aloha.
I'm here looking for a temporary car. My mom is at queens in hawaii with cancner again. She has had it twice before so my o'hana and I are versed in how trying chemo is.
She is scheduled for surgery tomorrow. The post surgery chemo is tough and my sister and I are coming from the mainland and taking time off of work to help her with chemo for 4 to 5 months whenever it starts.
If you knpw about chemo you know it's technically poisoning the body. Since I can't bring my jku to hawaii we are looking for a beater car for cheap to run errands in and even though hawaii's public transit system is the best she won't be able to take the bus. Granted we won't have much in the way of funds since we are using the family leave act to support our time out there any thoughts ideas any help will be greatly appreciated.
