Three weeks & 3600 miles Southwest tour
This northwest Jeeper got a good dose of the southwest in April. From my home in central Washington I headed south to Utah, Arizona and southern California. My wife met me in Arizona, and that was pretty much the end of the camping! What a great experience. Did a lot of hiking, though nothing all that strenuous.
Along the way:
The great hunt, Nine Mile Canyon:
White Rim Road, Canyonlands National Park:
Sedona, a hiker's paradise!
Walnut Canyon Ruins:
The Grand Canyon:
Wupatki Ruins, not far from Flagstaff:
A Nevada jackrabbit:
Titus Canyon & Death Valley:
And we came home to Washington along the east side of the Sierras:
Too much to tell briefly, I'll let these photos provide an idea about the trip. It was excellent, and we'll be heading back to the southwest for another trip sometime.
Regards, Guy
