WK 08 1/2 3.0L deisel oil change

Yes my other 2 vehicles are Jeeps.
Wish I could buy the JK in Canada with this engine because it's a gem so far.
Owners manual calls for 20k km. between oil changes but we've done some towing this summer so I'm going to have it changed at 15k.
Not being interested to do it myself (I do enough at work-not taking it home with me) I've priced my local -Jeep dealer at $230 to 240

-Mercedes dealer at $155

If you're going to DIY there is an unusual procedure involved and also watch out for spilling oil from filter area onto the alternator below.

Go to WKjeeps .com for TSB's and more info.

There's 3 TSB's about alternators failing. Oil spills are the problem. Best to know about this before the warrranty expires.

TSB#09-001-09 dated Feb-27-09 for WK's built before June 17-08
