I'm about 8 hours South @ Spang......on the "Right" side of the road

 

I was stationed at RAF Upper Heyford back in the early 80s. Cambridge is a neat place. You'll probably fall in love with the beer. I can't imagine it's like it was then though. There was a lot going on back in those days.

To get the most out of it, live on the economy. It's really the way to genuinely experience life over there. Also, I know it sounds hokey, but take some tours. See the places that tourists see. And take lot's of pictures. You'll have something to do when you get the grey whiskers.
