Nags Head fishing.
The family and I are in Nags Head on vacation and have been paddling around the sound in our kayaks. Does anybody have any tips on fishing it? What to use as bait or even where is a good place to find some fish. I have been trying to fish around some of the docks behind the houses but am not sure on what I should be using as bait. Thanks in advance for any help.

I was there a while back. The bait shops had only frozen shrimp so I bought fresh from a local seafood store. At a very comparable price. If fishing from the beach, watch the locals. They know how to read the water. Finally ask what color metal folks are using. Silver or gold made a huge difference.
