2nd Annual Chertsey Fall Run

Last Fall we had our Ontarian friends join us for a couple of trails in Chertsey QC ...

https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...rtsey-Nov-21st

A few of us discussed doing it again this Fall. There are many trails in Chertsey, from mild to wild, but this year we will be taking on the more difficult trails that Chertsey has to offer (as requested by Dave and Andrew ).

Neo xxis and I (and some folks from ORA) ran Timberjack and Thunderdome last weekend and I managed to find most of the rocks to high-centre on. These are the kinds of trails we will be doing. Rocks, mud, climbs ... you name it, these trails have it. [Thanks for the photos Yan - I was too busy winching].

Anyways, this will be a mandatory 35's+, lockers front and rear, and winch run.

Would love to go, but sounds too extreme for me.

I'm in for sure.
I can make it a full weekend.
Hopefully I dont break anything expensive at Bethel first :D

Goldorak 09-09-2010 02:03 AM

sorry, too hardcore for me
i don't have lockers yet....

buy weir on sunday is a good plan
i make the stairs several time this summer
without any problem, except the run with you this spring
that nearly cost me a rear DS

jk20084p 09-09-2010 02:48 AM

Sorry, only missing the winch on the official requirement, and the guts on the not posted ones for Chertsey... too heavy for me... :sad2: but the stairs, I might join (did it once to date) :)

Trick Cyclist 09-09-2010 05:35 AM

Goldorak and jk20084p: Weir on the sunday it is. Stay tuned!

Are we looking at Nov 13/14th?
I think Dave, and Bry are very interested from Ontario.
Maybe Rod from Kingston, and hopefully Bruce, Steve and or Wayne too.

Dave, let us know if the weekend of Nov 13th would work for you.

Anyone else?

Jenna 09-20-2010 10:10 AM

Wish I could come out... but I'm just not grown up enough yet :sad2: Maybe next year!

2Summer 09-20-2010 04:04 PM

Very interested, now just got to figure out whats going on at work.

Goldorak 09-20-2010 05:01 PM

i went to the stairs Saturday , it looks like some rock buggies on 44+ tires literally wreck the trail, the stairs are worst than ever.

And the jack rabbit is now a 33+ trail nearly a 35 on some spots
