Default Bantam Jeep Festival

The Bantam Jeep Festival registration opened yesterday for the Fest in August... It was great last year and had near 1100 Jeeps in attendance. It's definitely worth the trip if you are a fairly local or within a days drive.

I was planning on going up for Saturday August 10th, 2012, anyone interested in getting a group together to ride up? Meet somewhere in Pittsburgh, let's say Dormont Pool , I know that has been said before. Meet at 6:45AM, leave for Butler at 7:15AM? The drive is about an hour up. There is a shopping center next door with a Starbucks so everyone can get some 'go' juice if needed.

I live 5 Minutes from the Fairgrounds and 10 minutes from the City, I was thinking of having a meet and greet party Saturday night. Fire, Music, Beer. Should be a good time. More then enough space for parking too, 200+ Acres, and we usually burn a few hundred Pallets! Shoot me a PM if anyone is interested!

Bear Run is only about 15 mins away... I camped there last month with the kids. I just dumped 1200 into the jeep after I thought I hydro locked it. Ugh was going to buy a new bumper, disco's, and sliders with that money.

Im thinking about it -

can anyone tell me what the camping is light at the fairgrounds ?

it says there is electric and water "near by" - but i dont know what that means....is it readily accessible for camper/rv hook up or what ?

This fire will be at my house, 5 minutes away from the campground. the Campground is a nice place to camp, not the greatest of all campgrounds but it is very nice. I know what there are water/electrice hook ups there, now where they are I'm not sure exactly, I'm sure it won't be a pain in the A$$ to hook up for the weekend though.
