My jeep looks worse than that from today's morning commute.

Default Visiting from MN

I'll be in Boulder next week picking up a JKUR. Sticking around 3 days before i drive back to Minnesota.

any trails open near Boulder or Colorado Springs? I may drive to CoSprings and visit family.

I was contemplating making the trek to Ouray but not sure what it's like this time of year. i think the Loop is closed? You guys have any suggestions if i make it out there?

Thanks.

Has anyone been up to the Fall River Reservoir this year and/or know what kind of snow pack to expect in late June? I'm planning a camping trip on the 25th and would rather not drive all the way up there for 3 feet of snow on the trail!

Would ideally hit Chinns Lake if the snow is reasonable.

We need to get a JKU on 33" MTs and a 2000 4Runner with rear locker up there. Jeep has a winch.

There is still snow and ice in certain spots at certain elevations.

Below 9k is pretty much dirt only. Buy late this month it should be accessible, been through there with snow and it still wasn't too bad. With two vehicles and a winch you won't have any issues. Ran spring creek through Saxon mountain this last weekend which is just on the other side of 70. Saxon mountain has some snow but mostly just runoff and some muddy spots.
