I would suggest for those that do carry is getting insurance. Check with USCCA, it just might save you some trouble if something does happen.

I'm about to. I'm military so all I have to do is fill the application out pay the fee and supply my last weapons qualification. No class needed.

If you register to be an NRA member it comes with insurance too. Insurance is a good thing to have just in case something does happen. Whom ever you get insurance its a reasonable price too

I've been open carrying in Nevada for about 7 years. I finally went down and took the ccw class now I wait the 120 days to get the license (it's been about 35 days). I live in a city that has crime and it's not slowing down. I have a family and If something goes south I want to at least be able to have a fighting chance.

Better check again. It isn't that kind of insurance. USCCA does offer a discount to NRA members, though.

You get 5k of gun theft insurance with the NRA not concealed carry insurance.

Great info; I've been concealed carrying for years and never had insurance.......guess I better look into it.......since I'm not as good at hiding bodies as I used to be.....
