As long as the 2 door still looks like a real Jeep i'm happy, and the JL looks good. I like the grill that is reminiscent of the TJ. The things I don't like are the fender lights, rear lights (they look to integrated), and the hood vents. But these are all minor details. Overall the 2 door still looks like a descendant of the 1941 Willys with solid axles, so two thumbs up.

I'm loving the soft top with the lack of rear quarter "sails." That's pretty cool. The fold-down windshield is a major plus, too. Finally, they got that right.
Not shown in these pics, but noteworthy: The off-road pages on the infotainment system are pretty cool. Additional guages and drivetrain info, including degrees of left/right steering is VERY cool. The inclinometer is a nice touch, too. 4 prewired auxillary switches come with the tow group, too, making lighting and accessory wiring a breeze. 240 amp alternator also comes with that package.
The JL is going to be a winner, IMHO.

The dash looks great. I wonder how hardcore jeepers are going to feel about having that kind of technology on the dash. There is a certain timelessness about the analog displays.
