I have and 02 jeep liberty sport 3.7 my timing went and I heard these engines can bent valves so i took the plemen of if thats what you call it i look at the valves they look new no sings of of anything and from what i can see the chain that runs tru the cylinder and the chain feels tight

*might* be in wrong forums, the wrangler JK had the 3.8L and then the 3.6L, and i'm not sure if either of those shared anything with the 3.7L (i feel like the 3.6 might but i have a 3.8) also, you jeep model 'code' is KJ, like the cherokee. if this forum can't help you, a kj specific forum should. good luck!
