02 TJ Help

Hi friends! I've scoured and searched the forum so I apologize if Im asking old questions. We just bought my wife an 02 TJ and she want lift and tires. Were looking at a RC 2.5" and going with 33x10.5 BFG AT's. She doesn't wheel (she rides shotgun in the JK) But we live in the country and get tons of snow and mud so the height would be nice. Its a 4.0 auto, stock everything and have 31x10.5s on it now. Im worried we would have to re-gear going up to 33's with the auto? Any experience?

Thanks

Just like with the JK's...It is all about preference. What gears does it have?

There is a big difference in the step from 31s to 33s. 4.10 gears with the auto would be a nice set up for mild off road use. Remember JEEP put 4.10 gears in their rubicons with 31s with the intent to "crawl". I ran 33s with 4.10s for years and was always happy. I put a set of 4.88s in a friends YJ with auto and 33s. He ran them for about a month and we changed them to 4.10s. He's happy now.
