Default 2001 GC stops running

my 2001 GC 4.0 stops running. After sitting a few minutes it will start and run. There are time it seems to skip as though it wants to cut off but doesn't. Other than that,it operates great. Is it possibly the cam and/or crank sensors?

Get on ********* and send a message to wvracer821. Explain what's going on and I have no doubt he can tell you what's wrong. I will send him a text to let him know.

Sounds like your crank sensor is on it's last leg.

Have a 96 GC that did the same thing and it was the crankshaft sensor.
