Default Back up lights fail

Let me start by saying the nss is fine, cleaned, checked and working. Its a manual tranny and the bloody reverse lights just don't work. Fuse is good too. Didn't register anything at the nss or at the revers light receptacle. I'm at a loss, can't figure out what the problem may be. Any suggestion from you all would be great.

Sorry. It's a 1998 Cherokee.

Well there is no NSS on a manual like your thinking. Just a safety switch to know that clutch pedal is depressed. That being said, The ax15 uses back up switch for the reverse lights. It is located on the front half of the transmission passenger side, should have a 4 inch lead with a plug on the end. Kinda pricey about $115.00 from jeep. You might get away with removing and cleaning it. Nick-

I've seen that switch called several things. Yes it's a manual so it doesn't have a NSS but the back up switch you are referring to is what I already said we cleaned and is working.
