TIPM issues 2011 grand cherokee-opinions pls
please help! 2011 grand Cherokee with 65k miles. Suddenly, wipers & headlights won’t turn off, blinkers do not work, steering wheel controls do not work, etc.
Took to dealer & they said bad TIPM and steering control module. $2100 total. We reluctantly agreed to the repair.
Now two weeks and $2k later, same issues suddenly start again. After one week at dealer they are telling us it is the part (I do not recall the name because I was furious when he told me the cost) that controls the TIPM needs to be replaced and that part alone is $900!! Are you kidding me?
Was the TIPM & steering module really bad to begin with? How can we trust this dealer?
Opinions? Advice?
