In addition to the obvious off road capabilities, I really appreciate the size of my JKU, small enough to be maneuverable on small trails, but big enough to hold plenty of camping gear for 1 or 2 to live out of for a week or more. I also like the fact that I don't worry about interior or exterior scratches that don't detract from the thing, but do add a bit of character. I can even sleep in the back if I want, and can carry a 9 foot fly rod inside rigged when traveling solo from spot to spot. It can also carry a pair of bikes inside without having to spent hundreds of dollars on an external rack. With a rooftop rack it is great for carrying my canoe, and just fits my outdoor centric retirement lifestyle.

I love how much people compliment my jeep. And my nieces love riding in it with the doors off which makes me the coolest uncle ever. Also, owning a jeep is contagious. Everyone that sees mine wants buy their own to join the family!!

What do I love about my Jeep ? LOL well, I quit my job and we sold our house to move somewhere where 4 wheeling is abundant. Now we live close to the Rubicon. I also have an old Willys wagon. I like it because no one has one like it and it reminds me of a simpler time where USA was definitely on top of the world in every way and people were urged to take in the outdoors.

What i love about my jeep is the amount of joy and happiness i get when i walk outside and see it, and hop into that driver seat, and take off. I'm only 20 years old, and have just purchased a "new-to-me" 2009 sunburst orange JK 2 door. This will be my 10th vehicle i have owned myself since i was 15. It never mattered what vehicle i got along the way, i always longed for a jeep, any jeep. I have been looking at jeep parts and buying them before i ever even had a jeep! The amount of pride i have in that thing is insane.

I have never had a vehicle fit me and my personality so well and I have owned everything from sports cars to trucks. When I drive it its like.... perfect.... Its funny when other people dont understand the meaning of " Its a jeep thing" It is a joy to see my wife beginning to understand the meaning especially when we are out on the trails.

Every thing, I have done all the mods myself and it is the only vehicle I've ever had that makes me smile every time I see if!

As mentioned ..... It's the only vehicle I've owned that I smile at every time I look at it sometimes get caught staring at it(caught by myself lol). The feel of it on the road(a little rough), the sound of my mt tires growling down the street, the feeling of freedom with the top down doors off or even just the 1/2 doors on.... The things it can do off-road and I'll never get sick of the looks I get by total strangers giving me the thumbs up, big smile and best picture taking even at hiway speeds.... Just a fun vehicle all around.....
