JKU Hardtop with freedom panels.
I recently picked up a used and damaged hardtop with freedom panels for a project, but after looking at the project I simply don’t have time.
First the bad - The top was dropped and the liftgate was shattered. There is also a hole about the size of a silver dollar above the driver side hinge on the corner, the lower driver side near the tailgate has a 3-4” crack in the lip as well. There are numerous scratches with only one being somwhat deep but not to the fibers. The freedom tops are scratched pretty bad as well but not to the fibers and the back of one of them would need some glass work to make it look new.
The good - it has both side windows with factory deep tint which are in good shape. There doesn’t seem to be any stress cracks anywhere and the corners where the back window would be looks good as well.
If you have decent skills this can be repaired pretty easily and with a new coat of paint or bedliner look as good as new. Or if you’re looking for a project top this is a good candidate.
I’m asking $450 OBO.
