I've run both. Here's my thoughts: the JW's driving light pattern is way brighter. The JW's high beams are worthless but the driving light output is so good you don't really need high beams and the Trucklites high beams are fantastic but I rarely ever used the high beam function. The Trucklites had a hot spot where the two beams met and it distracted me( my buddy has the same issue). I like the styling of the Trucklites better but the JW's are just so good. I bought them when they were $699 each and still feel like they were worth it. Buy them and if you don't like them they are easy to resell but I bet you won't be disappointed.
