mobile HAM setup yeasu FT-857D +2 antennas PRICEDROP
Sold Pending funds antennas still available for 100 shipped to your door
with it I am selling my 2 antennas with NMO universal trunk lip mounts. one is a 70cm/2m Browning, the other is a 10/11m Tram that has a 11m length whip on it, you can either trim this one for 10m or buy another one if you want to go 10, I liked it to listen to trucker traffic updates on it at 11. These mount/antenna setups were over 100 dollars a piece. Both come with 17-18 feet of coax with PL-259 connectors and functioned flawlessly when I removed them from my jeep 12-22-10.
please communicate via Private Message for offers/I'll take it's
Thank you for looking!

Altho I'd love to have it, I'd much rather see you hold onto at least your radio. Do you have a shack at the qth? A little power supply, build a fan dipole and throw it in a tree, and your in business........No..???

Yaseu radio
What level of license is required for this radio? I have been thinking about getting my ham license. Locally, just to match static and bs on the cb radio.

It takes the lowest class license (Tech) to use the VHF/UHF part of the radio, as well as a VERY limited part of the HF bands. For the most part having at least your General class license would allow you to really utilize the radio's capabilities....

Dave, I appreciate your thought on this, but i really got the radio and my license for going to places where cell phones are a joke, and I no longer have the jeep to get to those places. I have picked up a HT and still use it in my civic to hit the repeaters while on my 40+ miles commute. I just no longer have a need for the HF reach out and touch like I did.

I don't sorry, I had them on the tailgate the 10/11M is about 50" long and the 2M/70cm is 39"
you can put them on just about any lip on your vehicle. On the tailgate you could put the 2/70cm on the upper horizontal lip and the 10/11M on the vertical lip on the opposite side to have then just about balanced out. I got alot of compliments and fairly decent performance that way.
If you have any more questions, feel free to PM me, since I have no jeep I don't spend a ton of time on the forum anymore... PM's go to my E-mail.
thank you guys for your interest.
