As the title states, for sale is a new Rubicon 4:1 transfer case for 2012-2017 JKs with automatic transmissions. The unit comes with everything needed to bolt up. Will take you an a buddy an afternoon to do the swap (it really is pretty simple). This is by far the best upgrade you can make on a JK and the best price you will ever see them at.

What prevents it from being mated to a 2011? I know the transmissions are different however I an curious as I've been wanting to do this swap for awhile.

The 2012 Auto has a different output shaft. The manual trans has not changed since 2007 and the 2007-2011 auto had the same output as the manual, so all of those use one part number and the 2012+ auto use another.
