That's up to you. All CB's are legally required to have a max output of 4W consequently one won't have better range than another. The difference between units has more to do with options (gain, dynamike, PA ability, etc.) The cobra 75 is a nice compact unit that is a good fit for jeeps because it can be secured much more easily than most types. Some states regulating handheld electronics while on the road will consider use of the cobra 75 illegal while driving though since it has the buttons on the mic itself. How often are you going to use it? Every day or just on trail rides? Just some things to think about.
