Hey guys, I bought the versa mount and had problems with my GPS and Midland CB radio mic. The two were slipping off the edge every time I took a Left turn. They just slid right off!! So I fixed the problem by taking a piece of round bar and cutting a slot in it. Then I welded it on to the end of the plate.

There you go! I will post pics later. I guess you could also just weld a tab on the end, that would work too. Has anybody else had this problem? I notified cool tech and they thought it was a good idea and were appreciative.

Yeah..you really should've waited till you had pics to post this..because without them all I see is gray.

But I'm interested to see what you did. My cb is coming today from UPS so I plan on making some changes to my versa mount this week as well.
