Default Microphone / switch mount

I was looking at few Switch panels for my JK, but wow the prices and the amount of switches... I only needed 2-3 switches, but then I got an idea to add microphone jack into it. So I designed and printed my own. I'm only using one of the switches for the supplemental brake system on/off instead of opening the hood every time we stop. Added three relays under the hood for future purposes. Left side looks empty but I put a 13mm groove in there for a round hole just in case I need a toggle switch in the future.

Recommend using PETG, ABS or Nylon

It just looks crooked, I didn't push the right corner in so I can remove it easier.

Version 15.02

Nice work there. May I ask how you're using that microphone?

Awesome Job !

I also had to figure out how to mount my mics - on to my cage.

My first attempt was to machine a bracket - but it was a bit bulky ....

Here it is painted & installed - frickin’ solid, but chunky ...

I was chatting with a friend whilst enjoying a refreshing beverage and he offered to print something out for me - holy, it was just what I wanted !

And here it is hanging a mic on it ....

Super pleased with the 3D version !

Yup, 3d printing has it's place. That came out real nice.

Man, you guys are way fancier than me. I broke a metal strap into a right angle and drilled a few holes in it. But I do recommend the Magnetic Mic holder. Much nicer than the clip you usually get with radios. No fumbling to put the mic into place; it's just like the attachment point reaches out and grabs the mic ...
