Default Mount for handheld?

Anybody have any good mounting ideas for a handheld? I have a VX-8R if that helps. Pics would be great!

I've ordered a CoolTech VersaMount for use with the IC-92AD or F60 ICOMS HTs but haven't got it yet. I use the speaker/mike with both of these and I'm not sure what I'm going to do with that either.
I may use the VersaMount for the speaker/mike and get one of the RAM mounts for the HTs.
wwwDOTram-mountDOTcom or wwwDOTlidomountsDOTcom both have some interesting solutions.

Well, I have the Cobra 75, so the mounting and installation would be different, but here are some pictures.

I used a metal coat hanger and looped it around above the reviewview mirror.

If it comes with any type of mounting bracket, you can put it on the versamount.

I have a Toad/Bullfrog mount for my Midland 75. Looks a tad better than the Versa mount IMO

Thanks for the posts guys. The problem with the versa mount/Toad's mount is that I plan on hanging my cb mike in that location. I'm looking at the Ram mounts, but I'm not sure which ones going to work best yet.

I searched but was unable to find the Toad/Bullfrog mount.... do you have a link/picture to a thread showing it?

Here's the IC-92AD and IC-F60 both mounted on the Versamount.
Can't find a downside to this, when parked the HT comes off to either go with me or be locked in the Tuffy console insert.
You can see how the external antenna cable connects to either.

I use an external speaker mike with both HTs sometimes, so far I've been pleased just clipping it to my shirt while driving.

That's a gorgeous set up but I don't want anything on the dash or around the rear-view mirror. I don't think there's an excess of visibility anyway.
