I couldn't find any information that made me confident.

I have an 07 JK and the U-Connect does not work. I read that when it was manufactured they could not figure out how to get it working and just sent the vehicles out with it not running.

My friend has a 12 JK, and took his factory U-Connect stereo out. Am I able to throw this in my 07 and finally have the U-Connect and Sat work? Or will I need some other parts? Mine did not come with Sat and I really like this feature. Or am I better off just buying a new double din deck?
