1 Wire Fix For The Door Ajar Chime

Snip the ALL purple wire and you're good to go!
Tape it back up.

Good find, but it begs the question- why would you not want the door ajar chime? It only comes on over 10mph and it's not like you're got a real reason to ride around with the doors open.....right?

Usually I just unplug the door connector if it's bothering me. Well, usually I have the doors off anyway, but on the rare occasion that I'm being bothered by the door chime that's the quick fix.

I've never had this as an issue.....when are you driving around with the doors open?
