Default 12V DC Replacement Process

When replacing the 12V DC Power supply from front located in the front is it just as easy as pulling the plug out and putting the new one in or is there wiring that will need to be done to where i need to take off the whole dash? some videos show a wiring harness but it seems its only for people that are running other accessories from that source. I am currently not.

There's a connector right on the back of the plug, it should be an easy replacement.

Default Not sure whats wrong lost front and rear power but have center console power

I have replaced all fuses and I still cant get my 12 volt plufs to work. I bout tge 2013 jku sahara and came with after market alpine halo 9 deck and a sub under passenger seat. I checked wires and they look fine. They took out the dash 12 volt plug so I waried in a new one and tgat is how I found out there are power issues. The rear sub doeant work or the power to the 12v plug back there. Now I guess I will pull out a volt meter and test tge fuse box and then the wires. I am still kind of lost.
