Default 2 phones with u connect?

just a quick question on the lockpick , can you program it to allow the use of two different phones with u connect? The reason I ask is because my wife drives the jeep as well and wanted to know if I could program u connect for her phone as well as mine. Thanks, John

yes, this is more of a feature of the uconnect, not the lockpick.

so, instructions would be in users manual, but in short, you just create a phone pairing for each phone, then in the phone pairing menu, there is an item that is listed that says something like, phone priority, then you select the level of priority, so if your phone is in the jeep, it defaults and connects to it even if hers is in the jeep too, but then if her phone is in the jeep and yours isn't then it will go ahead and connect to hers.

That's the basics of how it would work, and it does seem to work well that way with mine and my wife's phones. sorry, i just don't have the manual in front of me to give the specifics.

oh cool, I did not even look in the manual because I did not think it would be in there because the uconnect did not come from the factory working. thanks again for the info. I will give it a read.

Yes you can set up several phones...I have 3 phones set on mine right now. You can also choose priorities so if there are more than 2 phones in the JK it will search for phone #1 first and then move on down the line.

I connected my phone yesterday. It asked me to set a priority level of 1 - 7, so I am assuming that you can connect up to 7 different phones.

Here's my question;

Let's say My GF and I both have out phones connected (I am at a L1 and she is at a L2). If we are both in the car with our phones, will we both be connected but mine gets priority or will the UConnect only recognize my phone and not pick up hers till I walk away and my phone is out of range?
