20" LED hood mounted light bars
Looking for everyone's experience with the 10" hood mounted light bar. I am removing my 50" due to the insane amount of noise and not wanting to spend days modifying expensive parts to only make the noise bearable and not eliminated. I want to know if anyone has any noise or wind issues with their soft tops with this light bar installed before I make another investment and open up the paint on my hood, etc.
Any and all input would be appreciated. Thanks Joe |
I have a 32" on the hood and have no wind noise that I can hear and I have had it for maybe 2 years now

How do the hood bars attach? I thought they attached to the hinges, but those are painted....

Nope. I just used the torx and took the books out and they get replaced with the Allen bolts that came with the mount. The stock torx bolts do get a little scuffed but the hinges didn't get scuffed

Hi Guys
Just a quick question regarding the hood mounting position. The bottom of the light bar is only about 6" from the hood, i do realise the hood slopes down, but do you get much light on the hood? Do you need to run Hyper spot narrow beams to miss the hood? or Do you have to angle them up a little? I have an issue "seeing" over my hood. I run the seat up as high as it goes.... and i am 6'2".... Do these hood lights get in you way, visually? Thanks Regards Paul |
