Default Problem solved!

After about 3 to 5 mins in the off position I have to reset it with the battery switch. For a while too low or too high humidity was the problem but now it makes no difference what the humidity is inside the can. The ding with the key in the switch and the door open means it is ok. If the is no ding it has to be reset. The wipers run as soon as and as long as the key is in the run position, the guages, turn signals don't work and other weird things happen. Did anyone figure out what is causing this?
I have just found the fix for this problem and another related issue. A second problem started happening where the wipers would just come on and couldn't be turned off. The turn signals wouldn't work and the head lights wouldn't work. But, this problem would come and go without warning. Fix-Replace the Instrument Cluster corrects both problems. Dealer price $469, online direct from Mopar $306. Both sources have units with the same part number and same one year warranty. I would say don't purchase remaned or used. Removal and install on my 2007 was very easy. 7mm socket is the size, 6 screws to remove. Covers snap off and on. Took me 20 minutes or less. You will need to write down the odometer reading before removing the Cluster.
