2012 ignition cutoff?
With the theft of vehicles on the rise I am thinking about doing an ignition cutoff. I am wondering though which wire to use.
On my XJ (that I converted from auto to manual) I put a switch on the NSS ground and hid the switch out of the way. That way when I park it someplace I push the switch and there is no way anyone can start it.
Which wire and where at should I use? I'm half tempted to go to the NSS ground wire again (it's 2012 auto). Where does it run through? I'd probably want to splice into it in the engine bay and then run the wire out into the cab.

4low bypasses the NSS if I'm recalling correctly. What about checking a wire diagram associated with a remote start? They should at least tell you which colors at the column to look for.
The XJ may not have had it but have you looked into the SKIM key that we've all got? Unless the copied key is programmed, it won't run. It'll start, run for a second, then die.
