Good deal but make sure you get the 4 digit security code for the unit otherwise it will not function, i believe the anti-theft code is in all 2011+ mygigs. Nav antenna and bluetooth may be issues depending on which mygig unit you are looking at. May also want to post what current model radio you have in the 08, and what model the 2013 is(430N or 730N). I'm sure another member here will be able to chime in and provide the answer you're looking for once you specify which mygig you are looking at. good luck

IMHO my understanding is the newer antennas are dual combined sat/nav As previously posted without the security code your radio is a brick. The codes are kept on a server at jeep and you need the vin of original vehicle and head unit to get code from dealer. It will work but any other options you want to add you will have to have modules for like uconnect

Yup. Those modules are in the hundreds.

And adding a sub and amp may prove to be very difficult as well unless u just chop and rewire everything. If you have the stock base model am/fm unit, it is far easier and less expensive to go aftermarket.
I'm in a 2013 with uconnect and can't get my hands on the wire harness to connect the amp with. Have a couple on order at a dealer. If they are the correct ones or not I won't know till they come in and I put my hands on them.
I have all the options except the premium sound so I don't want to go aftermarket and have useless buttons on the steering wheel otherwise I too would go aftermarket.

Just my opinion.
