Default 2014 full doors on 2012 JK - different connector issue

I bought some 2014 full doors (heated mirrors/power locks/power windows) for my 2012 JKU. Unfortunately Jeep decided it was a good idea to change the electrical connector. My dealer wants $150 per door for the "full" wiring harness, which is insane. All I need is the actual connector so I can cut/splice the wires onto the 2012 connector, or an adapter. Searching the forums tells me that I could probably cut the outside of the female side (in-cab) and it'll fit, but I'd rather not do that. Curious if anyone else has come across this issue and if so, what they did to resolve it for less than $600.
