what do i connect the 2 little posts to??? *** Problem Solved Installed the Benchmark Dual Battery Smart Isolator***

no i got it from a buddy, he had one kicking around from a previous project that never happened so i snagged it lol

i am assuming one is ground and one is +12v switched just not sure if it matters which is which

I would use an ohm meter on each of those small leads to the case and if neither one of them reads 0 ohms to the case then I would say you are correct and can make either one whatever you want.

Sweet !! yup your right you can use it either way doesnt matter, thanks dude now i just have to find a unused fuse hole in my panel to use for the switch, im thinkin M9 as i dont have heated seats..

WAIT!

2 things -

Don't just wire one of those posts to ground and the other into the TIPM. Additional protection circuitry is needed otherwise you will send thousands of volts into the TIPM and fry it and the possibly the PCM!

Also, If that is a starter solenoid intended for intermittent duty, expect it to die quickly! The solenoids we use are designed for constant duty and are much heavier duty and more expensive.

it is a constant duty solenoid ? any hints what i should attach the posts to?

It's the circuitry/wiring harness construction that is important. Are you working from a kit or is this a DIY project?
