50 in light bar help

Default 50 in light bar help

I got a 50in light bar and a set of pillar mounts. What is the best way to run the cord ? Ideas ? How did u run yours ? Thanks for all the ideas and help in advance , Jeremy

I mounted mine with the wiring on the passenger side. I ran the wiring behind the mounting bracket, into the engine compartment through the cowl. I grounded the negative to the fender using an existing bolt (bolting the relay to the same bolt) and connected the positive directly to the battery. I then ran the switch across the firewall (securing it to the Jeeps wiring harness) to the drivers side, pushed it though the firewall and mounted the switch on the a pillar near the tweeter.
