Since the vehicle was made by Mopar as a show vehicle I am guessing they custom made the lights, or modified one from another platform.

It looks like they retrofitted a projector into stock housings and used a tri bar shroud. If you look how sunken the headlights are into the body I'm betting their not normal aftermarket lights. Could alos be an XE7 that the retro's into stock housings (with chrome shroud, this pic is jsut to show the tri bar).

Hard to say but I'd put my money on a custom deal. Don't forget to check what's available for H1's and H2's, they use the same 7'' headlight housing.

those housings ARE NOT functional, they were made for aesthetics for a show but never got them working if my memory serves me right. they have been taked about a couple of times on the forum but cant find links.

I hear yea....the problem with HID's, at least from what I've learned, is that the projector lens 'unit' is so large that if it doesn't come out forward you gotta relocate things on the inside. Someone posted on another thread to check out the 09' merceredes g-class headlights. They have a similar design to the one you posted only the lens is mounted above center in the housing.

I have some HID's fitted to the JK, and they are well worth the $$$. They definately stick out a couple inches from the front and look a little awkward, but my best description is...driving on the highway at midnight, with low beams, I can read the signs on the right side of the service road...and I can see as far as I care to.

Hey Clint, which HID's are you running? How are the high beams and what kelvin temp.? Much appreciated thanks.

Jason, there are a few different ways to do it on a budget.

Look for "6024" or "Hella 6024" or "Sylvania H6024". You can find those in $12 - $50 price range each. Pay as much as you want. That will replace the reflector which some people think is the first problem with headlights.

That will also change your headlight type to H4 from H13 so you will have to make or buy an adapter. That is about $50.

Finally you will need bulbs. You can get any wattage H4 bulb or you can get a H4 HID kit.

https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/jk-electrical-lighting-sound-systems-13/headlight-options-81868/ has a complete shopping list at the end.
